Virtual prototyping allows companies to develop complex hardware architectures more efficiently. To save on time and costs, designers can use this method to get started earlier than usual on hardware and software design, development and testing. Virtual prototypes are quick software models of physical systems, which enable the whole electronic system to be simulated.

In this foundational training course, learn more about the methodology of virtual prototyping and of virtual product development for embedded systems. The course will also cover the basics of SystemC and its extension AMS, insofar as they are needed for understanding the main content. Course participants can also learn how to apply the methods themselves by virtue of a use case.
