Virtual prototyping enables companies to develop complex hardware architectures more efficiently. In order to save effort and costs, designers can use this method to start hardware and software design, development and testing earlier than is traditionally the case. Virtual prototypes are fast software models of physical systems that can be used to simulate the complete electronic system.

Learn more about the methodology of virtual prototyping and virtual product development for embedded systems in this basic training course. The necessary basic knowledge of SystemC and its extension AMS is also taught, as far as this is required for further understanding. The course participants can also learn to use the methods independently on the application example.
